Where is my Cargo? and all its tools are for information purposes only.
Information purposes only
Everything on where-is-my-cargo.com, including the Track Connect, ULD Explorer, Load Plan, Document Atlas, AWB Generator, Message Decoder, Handling Capabilities, Labels, Abbreviations, Consolidation and Games, is provided for general information and education. It is not professional, legal, customs, regulatory, safety or operational advice, and it must not be relied on as such.
No guarantee of accuracy
We try to keep the information accurate and up to date and we name our sources where we can. However, we make no representation or warranty, express or implied, that any information, calculation or result is accurate, complete, current or fit for a particular purpose. Airlines, ground handlers, airports and authorities change their rules, services and data without notice, and third-party sources may contain errors.
Always confirm with the responsible party
- Shipment status and tracking: confirm with the airline or your forwarder. Tracking data comes from third parties and may be delayed, incomplete or shown as sample data.
- ULD specifications, payload, weight and balance and load plans: estimates only. They must never be used for actual aircraft loading, weight and balance or flight planning. Use the airline's approved manuals and systems.
- Documents and customs requirements: confirm with the customs authorities of the countries involved, the airline and a licensed customs broker.
- Air waybills and messages: the AWB Generator is a preparation aid. An air waybill is valid only when issued by the airline or its authorised agent, and message formats must be checked against the airline's specification.
- Handling capabilities: confirm services, certifications and acceptance directly with the ground handling company or airport before booking.
- Labels: printed labels are a convenience. Dangerous goods, temperature and other regulated labels must meet the IATA regulations for size, colour, content and durability, and barcodes must meet the airline's requirements. Check before use.
- Abbreviations and dangerous goods explanations: simplified learning aids covering common codes only. They are not the IATA Dangerous Goods Regulations; use the current regulations and trained staff before shipping.
- Dangerous goods, live animals, perishables and pharmaceuticals: follow the IATA regulations, the airline's rules and the requirements of the authorities concerned.
