Consolidation

Save by shipping together

Consolidation calculator and weight break optimiser.

Put in your airline rates and weight breaks once. See how much you save by sending several shipments together under one master air waybill, how to split the cost fairly, and when declaring a higher weight makes a shipment cheaper.

1Your rates

Rates per kilogram for one route, with the weight breaks from your quote or tariff. The example rates are made up: replace them with yours.

From (kg)Rate per kg

Every airline and quote has its own weight breaks: enter yours, in any order. The row from 0 kg is the normal rate (N). Rates are charged on the chargeable weight: the higher of the actual weight and the volume weight, rounded up to the next half kilogram.

Several shipments on the same route: send them separately, or together as one master air waybill with a house air waybill for each?

Fees per air waybill (optional)

For example documentation or handling fees. A consolidation pays one master fee plus a fee for each house.

3Weight break optimiser

The rate per kilogram drops at each weight break. Sometimes paying for more weight than you have costs less: this finds the cheapest way to charge one shipment.

For planning and learning only. Real charges depend on the airline’s or forwarder’s tariff rules, surcharges (fuel, security), rounding and minimums, and many quotes are all-in rates. Nothing you type leaves your browser.
