Your data
Privacy
Where is my Cargo? has no accounts, no cookies, no adverts and no tracking or analytics scripts.
In short
- No sign-up: every tool works without an account.
- No cookies and no tracking: the site does not set cookies and does not use analytics, advertising or social media scripts.
- Everything comes from this website: pages, fonts, airline logos and scripts are all served from where-is-my-cargo.com, so using the site does not contact other companies. Links to airline and authority websites only open when you choose them.
What stays in your browser
Some tools remember what you type so it is still there next time. This is kept only in your own browser (local storage) and is never sent to us:
- AWB Generator: the air waybill draft, the FFR and FWB details and house air waybills.
- Consolidation: your rates, weight breaks, shipments and fees.
- Sea-Air Planner: your route, cargo, options and rates.
- Games: your daily puzzle progress and streaks.
To remove it, use the tools’ Clear buttons, or clear this site’s data in your browser settings.
What is sent
- Track Connect: the air waybill number you search is sent to our tracking service (api.where-is-my-cargo.com), which asks the airlines’ tracking systems for the shipment’s milestones and returns them to you.
- Sea-Air Planner: the route is worked out in your browser. When live schedules are available, the ports, airports and date of the chosen route are sent to our schedules service (api.where-is-my-cargo.com), which asks ocean carriers and a flight data provider for sailings and flights. It also loads live disruption data (ship traffic through the main straits and natural hazards) from the same service; that request carries nothing about your shipment. Weights, cargo details and rates are never sent.
- Every other tool (ULD Explorer, Consolidation, Load Plan, Document Atlas, AWB Generator, Message Decoder, Handling Capabilities, Labels, Abbreviations and Games) runs entirely in your browser: what you type or paste is not sent anywhere.
- Hosting: like any website, our hosting provider (Netlify) and our tracking service may keep standard technical logs, such as IP address, page requested and time, to run and protect the service.
Security
The site is served only over encrypted connections (HTTPS), with a strict content security policy. To report a security problem, see our security.txt.
